CBS sends the first color broadcast over the air. At the time, CBS owned fewer than 40 color receivers.

Isn't it amazing how we take color television for granted? It wasn't until the late 60's that my family got its first color TV...and many programs were still in black & white (Sheriff John!).

Ah yes look how we've evolved, now we have 600 freakin channels and still there's nothing to watch! lol

It's hard to believe that color tv has only been around for less then sixty years!
