Today in Entertainment History

June 1 . . . 1938

The first Superman comic is released by Action Comics. The cost was 10 cents. In March 2009, one of the 100 copies known to exist sold at auction for $317,200. The owner purchased it in 1950 for 35 cents.

If only all investments were that good!
