Cruise Ship at Night

One night on my cruise, I decided to take some "artistic" photos. At 1 a.m., I grabbed my camera and headed for the top deck. It was beautiful. The lights glowed. A few people lingered in the hot tubs. Total darkness wrapped itself around the ship. It was like floating in a black hole. Only the engine's hum and the faint sound of moving water broke the silence.

I loved it.

I have really enjoyed the night times on board our cruises...the darkness of the water and the hum of the engines......we've been on three cruises so far.

Did I see isaac and Gopher down there, whipping up a batch of pina coladas for Jule and captain Steubing?

Cool pictures, Michael.

Ahhhhhhhh how nice that looks! I hope to take a cruise someday. I never have taken one yet. And I bet you are ready for another one already.

I love cruses as long as there are little to no kids on them. There was one that I went on that had over 700 kids on it. It was still enjoyable. I found an area of the ship that was off the beaten path. I called it Allens landing. It was on top of the captians area. This post makes me want to go again. =o)

Nice pictures!

Lovely pics, they've made me all excited about my forthcoming cruise. I've been on a few Princess Cruise ships where they've had "movies under the stars" bobbing about on the Caribean sea watching Prince Caspian whilst draped in a tartan blanket munching popcorn. Bliss!
