Burger Joint: Food Review 23 of 52

As part of my New Year's Resolution to try 52 new restaurants, diners, coffee shops and bakeries during 2009, I present the following review.

Place
Burger Joint

Location
Flamingo Hotel
Las Vegas Strip

Who I Went With
Ryan

What I Ate
Burger with pepperjack cheese and bacon. Fries.

Would I Go Back
Yes.

Worth the Price
The food was great but at almost $15 it's reaching the limit of what I want to spend on a burger and fries. It was worth it though. Very tasty!

Yum. Yum.

If you are in the Chicago area and have recommendations, please post as I am going to Illinois and Chicago on holiday next year. :)

That actually looks damn good. Is it me or does that place look more like a hair salon rather than a restaurant?

People were always telling me how cheap you could eat in Vegas and then I had the displeasure of actually visiting (hated it) and finding out for myself that the only cheap food there was probably recycled.

I'm not a burger person, but the fries look yummy. I can't recall the last time I ate french fries.

Ooooh! There's a burger joint in the Rio called Sport Bar Grill or something like that and it has the best freakin' burgers! Or is it that I was THAT drunk? LOL :)

I'm a non meat eater, so I would take the meat out and stuff it full of chips/fries and have a chip and salad sandwich. Mmmm delicious.

Mmmm....currently fries are not allowed to be anywhere near my mouth (until I lose the muffin top), so that pic is like food porn...Mmmm!

Glad you liked the Burger Joint, but there is no excuse for the high prices. Next time in Vegas, with a car, be sure and go to In-N-Out Burger (they have a website, lots of reviews, etc).

I'm glad The Pansy Bastard brought up the myth that you could eat cheap in Las Vegas. Ha! There are still a few cheap places to eat--some are really crappy and some are only cheap in the wee hours of the mornings. Trust me, you don't want to eat "cheap" buffets!

The burgers were awesome, and well worth the price. I suggest to anyone who goes, is replace the fries with sweet potato fries ($1 extra). They were superb...
