Don Alejandro's Texan Grill: Food Review 33 of 52

As part of my New Year's Resolution to try 52 new restaurants, diners, coffee shops and bakeries during 2009, I present the following review.

Don Alejandro's Texan Grill

Las Vegas Airport

Who I Went With:

What I Ate:
Hard shell tacos and rice.

Would I Go Back:

Worth the Price:
The price was under $10. Great for a restaurant in an airport. I was really hungry for something other than a burger or pizza. I saw this place and knew I wanted Mexican. I also wanted a place where I could sit down, eat and read before my flight. This was perfect.

Yum... I love Tex Mex- I think it's great that you're trying out so many new restaurants. I always eat at my same favorite places in L.A. and you've inspired me to branch out more!

Great value.

My last COFFEE in an airport cost more than that.

I love Tex Mex. I think what makes it even better is that it goes against so many of my "food rule."

I love the resolution. Love it.

Oh good LORD...why did I READ THIS before lunch hour?

Nummy nums! And $10 bucks in an airport for lunch? BRAVO!

I'm SO picky with my Mexican food . . . I'll keep it in mind though . . . :)

That's a lot of food! And for 10 bucks?

You said you ate it at an airport. I hope you didn't board an airplane immediately after!

That is good value, I once paid £6 for a cup of tea and a small packet of peanuts at Reykjavik's airport about 3 years ago.

There's enough on that plate for three people.
I have been following your food reviews and wonder why you are not overweight. The portion sizes in your country seem huge. Perhaps we in the UK are just being short changed.
It would be interesting to include a new line in your reviews
Too much, too little or just right ?.
