As part of my New Year's Resolution to try 52 new restaurants, diners, coffee shops and bakeries during 2009, I present the following review.
Place:
World's Fare Buffet
Location:
Riviera Hotel
Last Vegas
Who I Went With:
Ryan
What I Ate:
Variety of items at the brunch buffet.
Would I Go Back:
No.
Worth the Price:
The price wasn't bad for a buffet, but the food quality was poor. I've gotten very spoiled in Minneapolis. There are amazing breakfast/brunch places here. At this buffet, I think the fresh fruit was the only food choice that at one time was not frozen, boxed, canned or dehydrated.

I try to stay away from the buffets. Mostly because they usually have shitty food. I don't eat enough to benefit from a buffet and would rather spend a litte more money to get better food. I actually went to a seafood buffet with my family once and ended up walking out it was so gross.
Buffet: A place for groups of fat people to gather and eat as much crappy food as they can for a low price.
Ugh. It looks grim too! I guess they can't all be winners :)
it looks bad
Horrible breakfast bums me out!
It may not have tasted good, but from here, it looks delish this morning.
But I'm being good, having my homemade fresh fruit smoothie...then a Coca-Cola.
buffets kinda freak me out, all that food sitting out, people milling around....that little plastic cover thingy on top....I dont know, ewwwwwwww
Yeah, that doesn't look to appetizing.
I'm not a brunch buffet person. I think the overwhelming number of choices numbs my ability to enjoy because I'm thinking of going back for the next thing... that didn't fit on my plate. I end up stuffed, but not satisfied. BTW, the photo actually makes it look pretty appetizing. Bon appetite!
I love breakfast. I think it's my favorite meal of the day. And your count down is getting got caught up I see. How is the waist line with all these delish meals? LOL.
The all you can eat buffet is an offer, most people seem to think it's a challenge and pile it up high then go back for seconds thirds and fourths. A friend of mine wanted another dessert from the buffet, but weighing a whopping 16 stones he felt too embarrassed to be seen for a second time at the feeding troughs, so he asked me to go and fetch him one. "Suprise me" he said, so that's exactly what I did. I placed a lump of stilton blue veined cheese on the bottom of the dessert dish and topped it with jam sponge and custard. Bon appetite fatty!
Wow, I would have thought LV would be THEE place for a good buffet! My stomach (and arteries) thank you for the warning!
That bacon looks so undercooked.
xoxox
What a bad breakfast.
Thanks for following:)
Have a great week!
Let's hail no frozen food...
