The Positively True Adventures of an Almost Famous Writer
Love it! Have not heard that one before - that is so great!
I complain about men, I bitch about men, but no - I would never want to change a man ... they are nice the way they are. :) x
So true & sad!such complex creature woman!!Great day darlin'xo*
That is so true.Just yesterday I was talking with a female friend of mine, who is dating a guy who is hooked on sports. That's all he wants to see, talk about, or think about. And she actually thinks he'll stop if they get married.I tried telling her that the way he is today, is the way he'll be, probably, forever.Silly girl!
Michael , so true!!
Isn't that the truth! That statement sums up my whole life in one sentence.
My thought Michael.Unconditional love.Is it possible ? (you don't have to answer that) :)
That quote is so True!!
Too True! Good thing I believe that if you need to change someone, they aren't worth having!
So true! I love my man exactly the way he is!
Very true, but I have to say women haven't cornered that market. I've known some men who have been the same way!
Micahael, so true. If yo love a man, you can't change him. If you want to, you don't really love him.
Great quote, funny too.....I agree with Kyle;)
I do not know if this is true bc I have yet to be able to change a man :) My best friend and I have always had a line from a song we say to each other, Chocolate is a bandaid no matter what they say, shoes don't stretch and men don't change. ha ha lol
That's awesome! LoL!
I don't change my men...I train them! LOL
I have a few spares in my closet for just such an occasion.
"Once a woman has forgiven her man, she must not reheat his sins for breakfast." Marlene Dietrich
They do indeed. By nagging and giving ultimatums they have reduced men to shivering wrecks afraid of their own shadow.
I love that quote and of course, Marlene was ultra-chic. Once I took a fun quizz game of "look alike" on the net and I came out as her - Marlene Dietrich. I didn't know if I should take it as a compliment. She always seems to me a bit of a tragic figure singing "falling in love again..." in her husky voice in a corner of a dim smoky bar!!
Love it! And so true.
In "Sex and the City," Samantha adapts that quote to her own brand of philosophy, warning Carrie to beware of alterations of men...one wrong thread and the whole thing unravels.
So true! Best to love 'em as they are or leave 'em for somebody else.
