I want something to make life simpler! Slowing down HAS helped. Lily has that smile on that is so contagious....
Oh Michael, that's because they make gadgets for everything now and you have to carry them all around and use them and recharge them abd replace them when something new and better and more expensive comes along.
It's a plot, I tell ya!

This is SO true. You're right. Every time a new gadget comes out we get busier and busier. I always have to remind myself that I DON'T have to answer that text message or email right away. And I DON'T have to take that phone call if I don't want to.
IT CAN WAIT!
Sometimes I wish there were no cellphones, so we could enjoy actually living life.
I hear yah, I am the some its as if I am plugged in 24 hours non-stop, my blackberry vibrates even when I am sleeping. Hmmmm...
I am unplugging and turning everything off at night.

I love Lily Tomlin. So funny and so smart.
I try to keep technology about making my life easier, not letting it run my life. I can let a phone ring. Even a cell phone. I have a friend who will try me on my land line, and if I don't answer, she'll call me right away on my cell. Just to say something that can wait. Makes me crazy.
I have friends who think that gay men are more technologically advanced than straight men, or at least early adopters. Any thoughts on that, anyone?
