There was a time in the 80s and 90s where if a celebrity could hold a microphone, they could host a daytime talk show (or at least try).

I too am a Queen Latifah fan. I had her first album way back when... “I Order You to Dance for Me”. I sort of recall that she had a show but not really. Saw her on the Ellen show yesterday, does that count? Besides I always suspected that she is of the same sex persuasion...
totally missed it....but she is such a character.....fun and smart and beautiful.....
I can't specifically remember her show, but I sure do like her. I especially loved her in "Chicago". I just wish she'd come out already!

LOVE the Queen, but I never saw the show. I can remember her back in the day singing "U-N-I-T-Y" but I really fell for her after seeing her in the movie rendition of "Chicago"...

I did however catch an episode of former Cosby kid, Tempest Bledsoe's show.

I do love her. I never saw her show, though. I'll bet it was interesting, just for her alone.
I watched it a few times. It was just formulaic like the rest of them - Jenny Jones, Ricki Lake, etc. I remember she had some of her guests shoot hoops.
Do you remember the Tempest Bledsoe talkshow? Gaawd, that was painful to watch, as she tried desperately to carry her popularity from the Cosby Show over to daytime talk.

LOL. I actually did watch this. I also watched "Tempestt". LOL. Then again, I am a hardcore "Cosby Show" fan so that stands to reason.
