I need to add it to my list too. There's a lot of older movies I haven't seen.

Cagney was so great in the role. The scene at the end when he dances down the stairs is one of my all-time favorites. This film holds my record for the most times viewed in one week: 21

Yes... you must see it... a classic...

I always thought the last part of that line was "And as for me, that goes without saying..."

That's how I recall it anyway... From seeing it ten or more years ago...

In this movie Cagney does this stiff legged dance across a stage where he almost walks up each side of the proscenium that I have never seen anyone else duplicate.

I've never seen Yankee Doodle Dandy. Do I HAVE to watch it?

One of my favorite movie lines? In Auntie Mame when brunette Mame and blonde Vera are discussing how Mame should wear her hair.

Mame makes a comment about how she doesn't have time to change her hairstyle. Then Vera says, "If you kept your hair natural like I do..."

Then Mame interrupts her with, "If I kept my hair natural like you do, I'd be bald!"
