American Film Institute Top Quote #98:
Nobody puts Baby in a corner.
Film
Dirty Dancing
Have You Seen It?
Yes. I remember the craze this movie created. I also remember my teen sister's room being covered floor-to-ceiling in Dirty Dancing posters, pictures, buttons, magazine articles and more.

loved this movie and i've heard that quote many times since. sad about patrick and amazing what a nose job can do for someone's career. it stalled "baby's".
Just saw this a couple nights ago. Seeing Jennifer Grey on Dancing With The Stars this season made me put Dirty Dancing in my Netflix queue. It's a really good movie, even after all this time. It's a total chick flick, but I kinda like those :-)
I love it! I haven't seen it in a long time, I need to rent it soon. Such a classic!
seriously, do movies get any better? :)
This film contains some of the best character studies...from Baby to Penny to Johnny to Jake (the father).
Great movie!
Hope you are doing well!
Patrick
The best line from that movie
I loved this movie. I wanted to dance like Baby, but then again I had a baby so yeah...
A big hit at the time. It took place in familiar territory, the Catskills, where we used to take family vacations.
Yes one of my favourite movies. I watch time and time again and still love it. The quote for me though is by Jennifer to Patrick:
'I'm scared of walking out of this room and never feeling the rest of my whole life, the way I feel when I'm with you.' Classic.
Love that movie!
And she has resurfaced... on Dancing with the Stars!
Definitely a classic these days.
Michael, believe it or not; I have never seen Dirty Dancing. I've heard so much about it from people over the years that I almost believe I have actually watched it. Although I did buy the two soundtracks, Dirty Dancing and More Dirty Dancing. Great music!
So funny...Not sure why, but this quote has come up in little jokes several times recently. It's so sad to think that Patrick Swayze is gone...
Loved this one!
Love this movie! Yes, I remember the craze too. ;)
Still a good film, even after all this time.
