There was a time in the 80s and 90s where if a celebrity could hold a microphone, they could host a daytime talk show (or at least try).

She married (now divorced) Brian Tilsley from Coronation Street. Leeza is a thousand fold better looking than his screen wife Gail.
I remember this too....I actually had time then to watch tv. :)
